THE HUMMINGBIRD

Staten proposed to Kelsey just after Christmas in Joshua Tree, California. That morning, a hummingbird hovered over him for an unusually long time. Hummingbirds are said to symbolize good luck and fortune, and some believe they’re messengers from ancestors. In hindsight, it feels like a little blessing from the universe, which is why we chose it as a special symbol for our wedding.
